Baylor College of Medicine (TX) supplemental prompts, 2026-2027

Status of this program’s 2026-2027 cycle. Closed. The deadline for a verified CASPA application, three letters of recommendation, and both fees was August 1, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET.

What Baylor has published (from https://www.bcm.edu/education/school-of-health-professions/physician-assistant-program/admissions/application-process, https://www.bcm.edu/education/school-of-health-professions/physician-assistant-program/admissions/frequently-asked-questions, and the fee page at https://education.bcm.edu/PA/PASupplementalPayment, all retrieved September 2, 2026):

  • Baylor’s program-specific questions are collected inside the CASPA application, in the program’s supplemental section. The FAQ says the supplemental questions “ask each applicant to provide specific information” and warns applicants to “avoid using the CASPA narrative response as the sole basis of your response.” In other words, do not paste your personal statement into the supplemental answers.
  • The question text and limits are not published on any Baylor page. They are only visible inside CASPA. If you applied this cycle and still have the questions, please paste the wording and the limits below.
  • Supplemental fee: $50 for all applicants, paid by card on the Baylor payment page. The application is not considered complete until it is paid.
  • Letters: three evaluations, not the CASPA minimum of two.
  • One caution: Baylor’s admissions overview page still carried 2025-2026 cycle text when we checked, while the application-process and payment pages showed 2026-2027 dates. When pages disagree, the application-process page is the one that was updated.

What we would like from applicants in this thread.

  1. The supplemental questions and their limits as they appeared in CASPA.
  2. How you kept the supplemental answers distinct from your personal statement, since the program explicitly checks for that.
  3. Interview invite timing for people who applied by August 1.

General discussion of the program lives in the existing admissions thread: https://forum.prepanavigator.com/t/1358
